The NSW Police Force has advised me:
Funding provided in the 2009-10 Budget for improvements to radio communications, mobile data
terminals and information communications technology equipment are for statewide improvements to
police systems. This funding is not allocated to specific Local Area Commands or electorates.
Similarly, as the allocation to Local Area Commands of additional police officers attesting in 2010 has
not yet been determined, it is not currently possible to estimate how funds for the fitout of vehicles for
these police officers will be allocated to specific areas.
