For each entry above:<br />
(a) What is the description, in detail, <strong>of</strong> each project;<br />
(b) Which NSW electorate(s) will receive funding for each project in 2009-2010?<br />
(c) How much funding will each NSW electorate listed in (b) receive for each project in<br />
2009-2010?<br />
Answer—<br />
Information Technology Infrastructure:<br />
The Information Technology Infrastructure referred to is for the implementation <strong>of</strong> the Department's wide<br />
area network to ensure the availability <strong>of</strong> information technology services to all departmental <strong>of</strong>fices<br />
located in metropolitan and regional areas <strong>of</strong> NSW.<br />
Regional Tourism Signposting Strategy:<br />
The Regional Tourism Strategy includes such things as the "Welcome to state" and "Welcome to tourism<br />
regions" signs. The "Welcome to Tourism Regions" signs also promote the accredited visitor information<br />
centres across the state. The funding is not allocated to specific electorates. It is funding allocated to the<br />
implementation <strong>of</strong> state-wide initiatives under the Tourist Attractions Signposting program.<br />

*7331 BREASTSCREEN NSW—NEW FACILITY—Mr Richard Amery asked the Deputy Premier, Minister<br />
for Climate Change and the Environment, and Minister for Commerce representing the Attorney General,<br />
Minister for Industrial Relations, Minister for Health, Minister for the Central Coast, Vice President <strong>of</strong><br />
the Executive Council—<br />
(1) Has BreastScreen NSW recently established new facilities in Western Sydney to increase the number<br />
<strong>of</strong> women participating in the breast screening program?<br />
(2) If so, at what locations are these facilities situated?<br />
(3) How many <strong>of</strong> these facilities are situated in a public hospital?<br />
(4) How many <strong>of</strong> these facilities are situated in a private facility such as a retail store?<br />
(5) In relation to question (3) above, how many women have presented for a procedure at each <strong>of</strong> these<br />
locations since the facility opened?<br />
(6) In relation to (4) above, how many women have presented for a procedure at each <strong>of</strong> these locations<br />
since the facility opened?<br />
