such as service, location, familyfriendliness,
cleanliness, cuisine and

However, the Seaside Los Jameos
Playa has impressed not only Neckermann
customers but also the customers
of the Austrian tour operator
GULET. The four-star resort hotel on
the beach of Playa de Los Pocillos
was awarded the GULET Hotelo and
not only voted one of the ten best
hotels in Spain but among the
world’s top one hundred. In addition
the hotel has received the coveted
”HolidayCheck Top Hotel 2011”
award from users of the Holiday-
Check ratings portal, together with
the ”Zoover” as the best hotel in its
category awarded by Zoover, the
biggest online hotel and ratings
portal in the Benelux countries.

Together with the Seaside Los
Jameos Playa in Lanzarote the
Seaside Palm Beach and the Seaside
Sandy Beach in Gran Canaria have
been awarded the ”2011 Certificate
for Excellence” by the world’s premier
holiday ratings portal.
For the purpose of determining and
selecting the best hotels the portal
evaluates the comments, opinions
and reviews of the holiday-makers
who describe their experiences on
the portal. In addition users can
award up to five points for ”value for
money”, ”quality of sleep”, ”cleanliness”
and ”service”. Further factors
are the number and quality of the
ratings.
With an overall points total of 4.5
points each the Seaside Group’s Palm
Beach, Sandy Beach and Los Jameos
Playa hotels are among the top-rated
hotels in the Canary Islands. Only
because of the relatively small number
of user ratings it was not possible
to include the Seaside Grand Hotel
Residencia in the award of the certificates.
However, because of the high
level of customer satisfaction the
first and so far the only member of
the ”Leading Hotels of the World”
in Gran Canaria is the top-rated
Maspalomas hotel.

magazine Condé Nast Traveller has
included the spa of the Seaside Palm
Beach in its 2011 Gold List of the 25
best spas in Spain.

the world’s top hotels, resorts and
spas and then invites its readers in an
online survey to vote on their
favourites worldwide. In recognition
of its inclusion in the 2011 Gold List
the spa of the Seaside Palm Beach
has received the magazine’s badge,
which is greatly sought-after in the
tourism industry. In our extensive spa
