celebrates 150th
Anniversary
It is the 150th anniversary of the Roman Catholic
Church of Our Lady, St Martin in June this year. On
Sunday 23rd June, there will be a special
celebratory Mass at the church, at which Bishop
Philip Egan, Bishop of the Portsmouth Diocese, will
preside.
This will be followed by a celebration (format to
be decided) and
we would like to
display any
photos or other
memorabilia
that people are
willing to lend.
Perhaps people
have celebrated
baptisms, First
Holy
Communions or
weddings at the
church and have photos of the occasion or old
photos of how the church used to look.
