THE U_ S_ PBR FORCES MUTUAL HELP AND FRIENDSHIP
ACTIVITIES
1 . Beside the mission of stopping the terrorism of the VC and
also providing security on the rivers and canals, the U. S.
PBR forces also are carrying out several activities to help
the people in the faraway areas.
2. A Capt. Doctor of the U. S. PBR force is giving medical
examinations to the poor people, the ones who need help.
3. At any hamlets, whenever the U. S. PBR troops visit, they
are warmly welcomed by the rural people.
4. The VC now are really being defeated, in part because of the rura l
people's attitude towa rds the PBR troops as their dearest friends.
Especially the children are very fond of the PBR troops .
5. The U. S. PBR's Public Affairs mission has been very
successful because the people understand their valuable
duty to bring prosperity a nd happiness to the Vietnamese
people.
