·THE NATIONAL POLICE SERVE THE PEOPLE
At the present time, no police force in any other country
is assigned such complex and heavy responsibilities as those
facing the Vietnamese National Police.
The National Police perform all normal duties such as:
preserving public order, apprehending lawbreakers and
hoodlums, eradicating social vices, and helping the unfortunate.
In addition, they work as dedicated guardians of security.
While our soldiers kill the enemy on battlefields, the
National Police thwart and crush enemy terrorist plots in
rear areas.
As the war progresses, the National Police will continue
to maintain high standards of discipline and dedication, as
they resolutely carry out their mission of destroying the
communists and thieves. It is a great honor that this heavy
responsibility has been entrusted to the Vietnamese National
Police.
