PHASE II: IMPLEMENTATION PHASE
(FIELD WORK)
• Study design & Site Selection : Use assembled
maps, operational & biological info to position
comparable untreated plots. Consider scale / size,
homogenity of habitat, subject of interest i.e species
of interest (bioindicators), influence of spraying
technique, replication.
PHASE III: ANALYSIS AND ASSESSMENT PHASE
•Presentation of results
? Measuring specie abundance (population of a
particular species) & richness (number of
species)
? Use of ecological yardsticks to determine if
significant findings are biologically consequential,
acceptable or critical.
• Results interpretation & Drawing of conclusions
? Need to have professional advice from
experienced Ecotoxicologists
