2013 SUMMER PROGRAM ADDENDUM<br />

This document is incorporated by reference and is made a part of the Membership Application of the<br />

undersigned Applicant(s).<br />

Summer Memberships shall be available only during the period May 1, 2013 to October 31, 2013.<br />

Pursuant to the <strong>Club</strong> Documents, Membership Application and this Summer Membership Addendum, the<br />

Applicant(s) hereby apply for a Summer Membership in the following indicated membership category at the<br />

indicated fee:<br />

SINGLE / FAMILY GOLF $500 plus $32.50 sales tax = $532.50<br />

SINGLE / FAMILY TENNIS $250 plus $16.25 sales tax = $266.25<br />

SINGLE / FAMILY SOCIAL $125 plus $8.13 sales tax = $133.13<br />

First-time participants must pay a refundable security deposit in one of the following amounts: Currently<br />

waived.<br />

Golf—$500 (waived) Tennis—$300 (waived) Social—$300 (waived)<br />

Applicant(s) shall pay to the <strong>Club</strong> upon the signing of this Addendum as a Summer Program fee the sum of<br />

$ , includes applicable Florida State sales tax.<br />

Applicants are required to meet a Food-only Minimum of $250/Family; $125/Single (unmarried individual) for<br />

the Summer period._______ (initial here). As a reminder, our dining operation will be closed from Sunday,<br />

August 11 through Sunday, August 25 for Annual <strong>Club</strong>house Maintenance.<br />

Summer Golf members who reside in <strong>Palm</strong> <strong>Aire</strong> may use their own carts only if they pay the nonrefundable<br />

trail fee of $1,675 (family) or $1,445 (unmarried, single individual). Tax will be added.<br />

Proof of registration and insurance required. Registration forms may be obtained in the <strong>Club</strong> office.<br />

Applicant(s) must be approved by the Board of Governors for membership in the usual manner, subject to<br />

current membership caps. In the event of disapproval the Summer Program fee paid will be refunded, less<br />

any sums due to the <strong>Club</strong> for charges incurred including but not limited to food, beverage, pro shops and cart<br />

fees. Once approved for membership the Summer Program, fee paid is non-refundable.<br />

Applicant(s) hereby agree to pay all <strong>Club</strong> charges incurred including but not limited to food, beverage,<br />

merchandise and cart fees. Payment method: check or pre-authorized payment.<br />

During the Summer Membership period Applicant(s) will be entitled to the use of the <strong>Club</strong> facilities as<br />

authorized for the membership category indicated above. The Golf Practice Facility is available only to golf<br />

members and their paying guests.<br />

Applicant(s) have the right during the Summer Program period and once approved for membership by the<br />

Board of Governors, to become a member of the <strong>Club</strong> in any membership category by purchasing the<br />

appropriate Equity Certificate and paying the appropriate Initiation Fee. If Applicant(s) give the <strong>Club</strong> written<br />

notice of an intention to become equity member(s) of the <strong>Club</strong> within two weeks of the expiration of the Summer<br />

Program period then the Summer Program fee paid will be credited in full to the joining fees for the membership<br />

category selected.<br />

Summer members and any guests are subject to the <strong>Club</strong> By-Laws and <strong>Club</strong> General Rules governing members<br />

and must at all times be in compliance with the dress code. Please refer to the Members’ website at<br />

www.palmaire.net to view.<br />

Summer members may participate in all <strong>Club</strong> activities/events and may participate in the Men’s Golf<br />

Assn., Women’s Golf Assn., and/or Tennis Assn., based on Membership selected and upon application<br />

and payment of the appropriate membership fees for those organizations.<br />

Summer members are not permitted to participate in the <strong>Club</strong>’s Reciprocal golf or dining with other local<br />

clubs.<br />
