The 2012 Inverell Ute Muster
will be held Saturday 1 st December
BACKGROUND
The Inverell Show Society has held Agricultural Shows in the Inverell District for
145 years. A fresh initiative of The Inverell Show Society is the introduction of a
new event, The Inverell Ute Muster. A sub-committee has been formed by
volunteers with the aim to stimulate significant tourism income to the local
Inverell community.
WHAT IS A UTE MUSTER?
THE EVENT:
The Inverell Ute Muster is a celebration of Australia’s ingenuity –
The Ute. It is a unique gathering of youth who share an
appreciation for a national tradition of the ute culture. The Inverell
Ute Muster is similar in aspects to a b&s ball, rural show or a music
festival, thus reflecting the regions agricultural and rural history.
LOCATION:
The Inverell Ute Muster will be held at the Inverell Showgrounds.
Situated in the New England, North West Region, of NSW.
Inverell is located - 592 kilometres North of Sydney,
- 442 kilometres SW of Brisbane,
- 1,112 kilometres NE of Deniliquin
(The nearest Ute Muster)

ENTERTAINMENT:
The Inverell Ute Muster includes various elements - bar & bbq, live
entertainment from popular artists (e.g. The McClymonts, Adam
Brand) and other performers from different genres. The Inverell
Ute Muster competitions range from ute barrel racing to mud
wrestling. Any ticket holder can enter these exhilarating
competitions throughout the day (within safety guidelines).
DEMOGRAPHIC:
The Inverell Ute Muster will appeal to 18 + year old, male and
females from a broad geography across Australia.
TICKETS:
$150(inc.gst) includes gate entry from 10am, food and beverage
tickets, 12 hours of live entertainment, selected merchandise and
free secure camping. Discounted early bird tickets will also be
available.
SECURITY:
The Inverell Ute Muster will have professional security, as per legal
requirements. There will also be volunteer security patrols over the
entire weekend to ensure safety and confidence in the event.
BENEFIT TO COMMUNITY:
An average Ute Muster attendee will travel thousands of
kilometres. Given this is the first year, we project at least 500 Utes,
and approximately 3000 attendees. For instance the Deni Ute
Muster, operating 13 years, has drawn up to 15,000 Utes and thus,
is internationally renowned and proven for local economy stimulus.
There is also the opportunity to create an Agricultural Scholarship
to potential year 12 students who reside in the Inverell District.
BENEFIT TO INVERELL SHOW SOCIETY:
The Inverell Ute Muster is a subcommittee of The Inverell Show
Society, a non-profit organisation. Any financial dividends from The
Inverell Ute Muster will be re-injected into the Inverell show
grounds’ preservation and maintenance.

MARKETING AND PROMOTION
The Inverell Ute Muster will be advertised extensively throughout Australia via;
- Radio
- Newspapers
- Related Magazines
- Online (including social networking sites)
- Television
- Media releases will be distributed all over Australia regularly
- Promotional kits including Posters/Flyers will also be distributed to all
major country town and city Tourist Information Centres.
This will be a National Marketing Campaign, as the first year of advertisement is
highly significant to the establishment of such a large event.

Gold Sponsors logo will appear on all Volunteer and Marshalling shirts
Prime positioned stall or display area.
2 x medium banners displayed on site (sponsor to provide banner)
Gold Sponsor will be given the opportunity to provide advertising/promotional
material for all email correspondence.
Gold Sponsors will be allocated (5)x VIP Tickets including corporate box

Silver Sponsor $1,500 (plus GST) +

Business promotion on all event flyers for pre/post event functions (A5 full colour)
