National Show Report<br />
The P.H.A.A have secured the<br />
services <strong>of</strong> three A<strong>PH</strong>A US<br />
judges that will be traveling<br />
"Down Under" with their<br />
families for the National Show.<br />
At this stage I am pleased to announce<br />
that the A.P.H.A President Richard Cox<br />
and his wife Kay will also be heading<br />
Down Under.<br />
The show should be enjoyable and<br />
should be easy showing under these<br />
three very nice, pr<strong>of</strong>essional and well<br />
credentialed judges.<br />
Just some points to remember for the<br />
National Show<br />
Entry Forms:<br />
The entry forms will be available<br />
ONLY from the P.H.A.A Office and on<br />
the P.H.A.A website for you to down<br />
load.<br />
The cost <strong>of</strong> Entry:<br />
Open $27.00<br />
Amateur $22.00 - Capped at<br />
$220.00<br />
Youth<br />
$17.00 - Capped at<br />
$170.00<br />
Late entries:<br />
Can be made up until 5pm the<br />
evening before the class is held with a<br />
$50 late lodgment fee – excluding<br />
futurities (there are no late payments<br />
to Futurity events). Any class with less<br />
than 2 entries CAN NOT be late<br />
entered. There must already be in the<br />
program 2 or more horses entered<br />
before late entries can be accepted.<br />
NOTICE NOTICE NOTICE<br />
Refunds:<br />
ALL refunds requests MUST be<br />
submitted on P.H.A.A REQUEST FORM<br />
and lodged with the show <strong>of</strong>fice<br />
during the show or the P.H.A.A <strong>of</strong>fice<br />
within 5 DAYS after the last day <strong>of</strong><br />
showing. Refund forms are available<br />
from the P.H.A.A, National Show Office<br />
and the P.H.A.A website.<br />
Eligibility for refunds:<br />
Only horses scratched from a class<br />
with the show <strong>of</strong>fice PRIOR to the<br />
event(s).<br />
Must have a veterinary certificate<br />
stating the horse was unfit to compete.<br />
OR<br />
Must have doctors medical certificate<br />
stating the exhibitor nominated was<br />
unfit to compete.<br />
Cancellation by telephone will NOT<br />
be accepted.<br />
In all cases insurance and<br />
administration fee will not be<br />
refunded.<br />
Stabling will not be refunded if the<br />
P.H.A.A was unable to re-allocate the<br />
stable(s).<br />
Our new Secretary Carol Gleason has<br />
been working very hard and has<br />
everything under control, it will be<br />
very hectic in the next few months for<br />
Carol.<br />
So please ensure, when filling out<br />
your entries - check and double check<br />
your entries and money to see that it is<br />
all correct. This will make things a little<br />
easier for Carol.<br />
Also check that anyone showing your<br />
horse is a current P.H.A.A member.<br />
NO MEMBERSHIP, NO SHOW.<br />
DON’T BE DISAPPOINTED.<br />

Christmas and New Year. I know I did,<br />
traveling across the U.S.A with Jeff and<br />
Lee Ann. Driving around 7000 klms –<br />
not me – the driver Jeffrey.<br />
