Community members on the other h<strong>and</strong> can play a role <strong>in</strong> <strong>HRH</strong> management process, the<br />

development of policy <strong>and</strong> the education <strong>and</strong> tra<strong>in</strong><strong>in</strong>g of health workers. This is facilitated by<br />

<strong>HRH</strong> management processes <strong>and</strong> functional community structures. Figure 27 outl<strong>in</strong>es a<br />

number of ways that community members can contribute allow<strong>in</strong>g people to play an active<br />

role <strong>in</strong> enhanc<strong>in</strong>g their own health care delivery as well as support<strong>in</strong>g their community. This<br />

<strong>in</strong>volves the community <strong>in</strong> the co-production of MNRH care <strong>and</strong> services based on strong<br />

partnerships between public sector professionals <strong>and</strong> community members.<br />
