World clock<br />

You can display two clocks on the idle screen, one<br />

showing your local time and one the time of your<br />

destination.<br />

1. Check that you have set your local time and<br />

date.<br />

2. Go to Tools > World clock.<br />

Local setting/Foreign setting: Tap < or ><br />

repeatedly to select a city. If necessary, tap<br />

Options to turn Daylight saving/Daylight saving for<br />

foreign city on or off.<br />

Switch local/foreign: Tap to switch between<br />

local and foreign clock.<br />

Alarms, reminders, programmed events are<br />

time zone independent! If you set an alarm or<br />

an event at 9:00 AM in time zone A, it will still<br />

ring or be due at 9:00 AM if you change to time<br />

zone B.<br />

Stopwatch<br />

Use the stopwatch for your timing needs.<br />

In Tools > Stopwatch,<br />

• Tap on Start to start timing.<br />

•Tap on Pause/Continue to pause or resume.<br />

•Tap on Restart to reset the timer.<br />

•Tap on Back to exit.<br />

Use your file reader<br />

Text reader<br />

This menu allows you to view the text file (.txt file)<br />

saved in your phone or the memory card. To view<br />

a file through the text reader,<br />

1. Copy and save the file to My files > Phone or<br />

Memory card > Others > Ebook.<br />

2. Go to Tools > Text reader. Tap on Select or<br />

Options > Global settings > Select storage to<br />

select the file location: phone or memory<br />

card, if you have inserted a memory card into<br />

your phone.<br />

Existing files are listed. To display the files as<br />

desired, tap on Options > Sort by.<br />

3. To display a file correctly, select your desired<br />

file, and tap on Options > Global settings ><br />

Encoding. Select the encoding suitable to your<br />

language.<br />

To search for information when viewing a file<br />

You search for specific words, marked information,<br />

or different parts of the file. After opening the file,<br />

tap on Options to select:<br />

• Find: Find specific words in the file.<br />
