<strong>of</strong> Bessemer, less than 30 minutes from downtown<br />

Birmingham. Take I-59/20 to Exit 100 <strong>and</strong> follow the signs<br />

(approximately 2 miles) or you can take I-459 to Exit 1<br />

<strong>and</strong> follow signs (approximately 7 miles).<br />

FIELD TRIP COSTS<br />

• Fee <strong>of</strong> $5.00 per child - (If the public school<br />

has 40% or more <strong>of</strong> its students on free or<br />

reduced lunches, the fee may be waived).<br />

FIELD TRIP SIZES<br />

• Field trip sizes may not exceed 50 students<br />

(Maximum number <strong>of</strong> student space available).<br />

FIELD TRIP AVAILABILITY<br />

• Field trips are available each Thursday <strong>and</strong><br />

Friday beginning April 1 through October 31.<br />

• The field trip includes 2 hrs. <strong>of</strong> instructional<br />

activities between 9 a.m. - Noon.<br />
