Donors can create an enduring charitable legacy with gifts that<br />

support the expansion <strong>of</strong> healthcare services to underserved<br />

communities in California. Your generous gift will allow the<br />

<strong>Foundation</strong> to continue giving golden opportunities to students<br />

and recent graduates who will provide direct care to communities<br />

in most need.<br />

Donors may select among the following options:<br />

• Unrestricted funds provide the most flexibility, enabling the<br />

<strong>Foundation</strong> to respond to program and healthcare workforce<br />

needs as they emerge.<br />

• Restricted funds are established by donors to reflect their<br />

personal charitable interest and may be delineated by<br />

geographic area, specific population, or interest.<br />

• Corporate charitable gifts allow companies to meet<br />

philanthropic goals while saving the cost <strong>of</strong> in-house<br />

management.<br />

There is a wide range <strong>of</strong> options for giving. For example, gifts <strong>of</strong><br />

cash, stock and other securities, and real estate may be donated.<br />
