Step Four: Recording Tap Averages for<br />

Begin Step Four<br />
On the LUT calibration spreadsheet,<br />
click the SET Command to Save as<br />
Text tab and save tab as a text file<br />
(File—Save As, then select Text(OS_2<br />
or MS-DOS) in the Save as type drop<br />
down list). Save only the active sheet.<br />
In this step, you will be recording tap averages for each of the t nn%<br />
exposure<br />
times.<br />
Saving Text Files<br />
Save the commands as a text file so you can send the commands to the<br />
camera through your terminal application rather than having to type in<br />
each command individually. For example, to send a file using Microsoft<br />
HyperTerminal, select Transfer then Send File .<br />
Enter or send the first set<br />
command to the camera.<br />

2. On the Enter Data Here tab, enter the Avg_tap1 , and Avg_tap2 beside the<br />
corresponding exposure time.<br />
