GPIO Connector<br />

If using an external sync, external direction<br />

control or any other external signals,<br />

connect the GPIO.<br />

Connect Ethernet cable.<br />

Connect Cat 5 or Cat 6 cable from camera<br />

to computer Ethernet jack.<br />

Connect power cable.<br />

Connect power cable from camera to +12<br />

V to +15 V power supply.<br />

Open QuickCam.<br />

On the Windows task bar click , Start point<br />

to Programs—DALSA<br />

QuickCam—DALSA QuickCam .<br />

Confirm or enter your IP Address.<br />

In the Set <strong>Camera</strong>’s IP Adress dialog box,<br />

confirm or enter the camera’s IP Address.<br />

Click OK .<br />

Start acquiring images.<br />

On the QuickCam toolbar, click the<br />

Continuous Grab icon. The image should<br />

be visible in the Image Output window.<br />
