DN = Digital numbers (0-255); also known as gray levels.<br />

EC = Exposure control.<br />

1. <strong>Manual</strong> gain adjustment forces uncalibrated operation.<br />

2. With calibration off, using factory settings (these are separate from user<br />

defaults settings, both are set during factory calibration).<br />

3. With calibration on, using user default settings, using integrating sphere, and<br />

a 10°C drift from time of calibration.<br />

4. Tungsten halogen light source, 3200K bulb temp., and 750nm cutoff filter.<br />

5. Calibration off. Gain for each channel set to 2 (command sg 2, 2, 2).<br />

6. Deviation from ideal, from 10%-90% exposure. Measured after calibration,<br />

light intensity 120µW/cm 2 , 4kHz line rate. “Ideal” condition is based on line<br />

of best fit through 12 points of data.<br />
