Method One to Crop a Photo: Click a selection tool on the tool bar, hold down the left mouse key and drag the mouse over the picture to select the area you want to crop out. The Gimp Photo Editor: Cropping an Image The dotted line portrays the selected area. Everything outside the dotted line will be discarded. Go to the image menu and select crop image. Method Two to Crop a <strong>Photo</strong>:<br />

Click on the crop tool from the toolbar,<br />

left click on the picture, hold and<br />

drag. A box will appear. Drag the box<br />

from the corners until you have the<br />

area to remain selected.<br />

<strong>The</strong> four corner boxes<br />

are used to resize the<br />

crop selection area.<br />

Left click on a box, hold<br />

and drag.<br />

When you are ready to crop,<br />

left click in the center of the<br />

selected area. <strong>The</strong> program<br />

will leave only the area inside<br />

the selection box.<br />

<strong>The</strong> cropped<br />

image.<br />
