Alternatives-Badayl is an International Consultancy based in Goa, India<br />

Processes which, in turn, enable and equip <strong>the</strong> Independent Social Sec<strong>to</strong>r<br />
Organizations <strong>to</strong> effectively analyze <strong>the</strong> root causes of fac<strong>to</strong>rs that shape<br />
our world and formulate relevant and viable responses <strong>to</strong> <strong>the</strong>se fac<strong>to</strong>rs.<br />
CARITAS - GOA<br />
Caritas - Goa was established in 1962 with a mission ‘<strong>to</strong> love and serve<br />
<strong>the</strong> needy in action’. Through <strong>the</strong> various projects and programs it<br />
expresses in action <strong>the</strong> love and care of God <strong>to</strong>wards <strong>the</strong> needy,<br />
oppressed and <strong>the</strong> victims of natural calamities and man made disasters<br />
securing <strong>the</strong>m freedom for integral development. Caritas - Goa is a dynamic<br />
expression of <strong>the</strong> Church’s option for <strong>the</strong> poor, <strong>the</strong> destitute, <strong>the</strong> ailing and<br />
<strong>the</strong> marginalized. It works <strong>to</strong> alleviate human sufferings and uplift those<br />
challenged in any way, especially women and children whe<strong>the</strong>r physically,<br />
mentally or economically.<br />
COUNCIL FOR SOCIAL JUSTICE AND PEACE<br />
Council for Social Justice and Peace was re-established in its present<br />
form in 2005. CSJP functions with a vision <strong>to</strong> establish a society rooted<br />
in Gospel values where all people of good will work in solidarity and live<br />
in harmony with nature and human kind, where equality, justice, freedom<br />
prevail and peace reigns. CSJP accompanies people in all <strong>the</strong>ir struggles<br />
<strong>to</strong> care for <strong>the</strong> earth, protect and promote <strong>the</strong> rights and Human dignity<br />
and empower all especially <strong>the</strong> poor and <strong>the</strong> marginalised.<br />
