• Shadow Password is available on 11i v1, v1.6, v2<br />
(11.11/22/23)<br />
• Part of the standard OS for 11i v1.6 & v2<br />
• Bundle of patches for 11i v1, downloadable from<br />
software.hp.com:<br />

• By default Shadow is NOT configured<br />
• Enabling Shadow on a Standard Mode System is done using<br />
the pwconv tool (run pwchk FIRST)<br />
• Disabling Shadow on a Standard Mode System is done using<br />
the pwunconv tool<br />
• Trusted Systems can not be converted to Shadow directly,<br />
must be un-Trusted first<br />
