BRAVO presents… Dear Edwina, Jr.!
Production Details:
Contract: All actors AND parents must read and sign the attached contract. The contract requires both student &
parent signatures. Return by the due date. It is important all students and parents understand the commitment of being
in the play.
Costume Fee: A $15.00 costume fee is required for all cast. Please return the costume fee with the attached contract
by the due date.
In January, we will ask all students to provide a labeled small laundry basket for their costumes and personal items.
Rehearsals: are required and important.
o Conflicts were requested of students prior to casting. Any conflict not listed on their conflict sheet must be
phoned in or emailed.
o Any more than two absences, not previously noted, will result in dismissal from the show (we understand
emergencies arise).
o Notes, emails, or phone calls after the absence will be considered not-excused and will result in dismissal from
the show.
o 60 students (and 20 crew!) have been cast! They are required at all called rehearsals.
o ILLNESS: If your child is sick on a rehearsal day, please notify us prior to the rehearsal. Students who have
not attended school that day cannot attend rehearsal.
o Actors that commit to the production are expected to be dedicated and responsible and we appreciate your
support.
Early dismissal: we will not allow a student to leave early from a rehearsal without written permission, email or phone
call. Your children’s safety is our priority.
Grades: Students must maintain a 2.0 grade point or above to participate in the musical. Students may not receive a U
in any class during their participation. A U would result in one week dismissal from rehearsals, missed time on stage and
dismissal from the musical if the U cannot be rectified.
Communication: We communicate everything through email and the website. Be sure we have your correct email.
Volunteers: We NEED you parents! We love parent involvement and quite frankly couldn’t accomplish it all without
you. We encourage you to be involved as much as you can (costumes, props, set construction, hair, makeup, tickets,
concessions, and more)! Its lots of fun.

Performances:
We are offering one in-school performance and three additional performances. Please note performances on your
calendar immediately. We will have ticket pre-sales available to you in January. Tickets can easily be ordered through
web payments or downloaded from our website.
Please do not hesitate to call, email, or stop by the end of rehearsal to chat with us. Thank you for dedicating your time and
support to another fantastic Brooks experience. Collaboration + Teamwork = Success!

Dear Edwina, Jr. Production Agreement
Students/Parents: Read, Sign and Return no later than Monday, November 21
I ________________________________ understand that by accepting my role in the production of Dear Edwina, I
am committing my time and energy to the good of the entire production. I am aware of the production schedule and I
have communicated and reviewed it with my parents. I have turned in my conflicts sheet and I understand two
absences from rehearsals may result in my dismissal from the production. I understand a 2.0 grade point average is
required to participate. A one-week probation will be given should my grade point drop below a 2.0 or should I
receive a “U” in any class. If grades are not reconciled during the week probation, I understand I will be required to
resign from the production.
I will:
1. Be at rehearsals: All anticipated conflicts have been reported to the Directors.
2. Be ready: Be on time and prepared. Practice at home, rehearse at school.
3. Be responsible:
work on homework during rehearsals when not needed on stage.
be responsible for yourself and your belongings.
keep up school assignments, grades and maintain a 2.0 grade point average or above.
work hard and always give 100%.
4. Be attentive: listen quietly when others are working, directing or talking. Stay focused while
working on a scene or production number.
5. Be positive: never judge yourself or others.
6. Be brave: take risks so you can learn new skills.
7. Be smart: NO gum and the use of cell-phones is prohibited.
8. Be respectful: which includes the costumes you are assigned, the props you will use, and the
equipment we are so fortunate to have.
9. Believe: in yourself !
I understand that the presentation of a quality production is a team effort and I will give 100% to
that effort throughout the preparation for this performance.
