AgSTAR provides assistance to farmers considering installing an anaerobic digester<br />
system. <strong>The</strong>y can be reached by calling 1-800-95AgSTAR. <strong>The</strong> AgSTAR web site<br />
www.epa.gov/agstar contains a wealth of information for farmers interested in installing a<br />
digester, including:<br />
• <strong>The</strong> AgSTAR Handbook, a guide to thinking about installing an anaerobic<br />
digester. This can be downloaded from the web site.<br />
• FarmWare, a free software program that can assist a farmer with a prefeasibility<br />
analysis of installing a digester. Available for downloads.<br />
• List of vendors with contact information and a description of project experience<br />
with farm-scale digestion.<br />
