The Industrial HVAC Program is in the process of being<br />
redeveloped, but its main function is to help offset<br />
Enbridge’s customer’s cost in obtaining a detailed<br />
cost/benefit analysis on energy retrofit opportunities.<br />
Enbridge offers incentives totalling half of the cost of an<br />
HVAC Audit up to $5,000. Natural Gas energy saving<br />
measures that are installed as a result of the audit may<br />
also be eligible for a 5¢ per cubic metre incentive.<br />

Reduce natural gas fired hot water consumption through<br />
the installation of low flow, high density Pre-Rinse Spray<br />
valves to commercial kitchens at no cost.<br />
This program encourages energy savings through steam<br />
plant tests and audits, steam trap surveys, insulation<br />
surveys, and implementation of energy-efficient<br />
measures. Incentives are provided for the audits and<br />
surveys and for assistance to implement energy-efficient<br />

The program offers a fixed incentive of $4,000 for design<br />
activities aimed at improving a building’s energy and<br />
environmental performance – whether it is a new building,<br />
an addition to an existing building or a major renovation.<br />
Customers are recommended to consult with a preapproved<br />
DAP advisor – a list of engineering firms is<br />
available on the Enbridge website.<br />
