Error at the branching interface<br />

An error occurred at the branching interface (remote bus or<br />

local bus) of the indicated bus segment. This may also affect<br />

the connected transmission path or the devices connected to<br />

it. For local buses, this error message refers to all<br />

transmission paths and local bus devices.<br />

The outputs are reset in the LOOK FOR FAIL state. They<br />

remain reset until the bus is restarted and data cycles are<br />

transmitted without errors.<br />

Display reading:<br />

– Line 1 - Error type (OUT2)<br />

– Line 2 - Segment and position of the bus terminal module<br />

at the OUT2 interface of which the error occurred.<br />

– Line 3 - Error code<br />

The background illumination changes to red.<br />
