9 Special jackpot equipment<br />

(1) A casino operator may link 2 or more tables together<br />

electronically to form a progressive jackpot link<br />

arrangement, if the chief executive has approved the<br />

arrangement.<br />

(2) The tables must have—<br />

(a)<br />

(b)<br />

(c)<br />

a slot for a jackpot wager by each player; <strong>and</strong><br />

a light for each slot that lights up if a chip is placed in<br />

the slot by a player <strong>and</strong> is accepted; <strong>and</strong><br />

a meter or sign that shows the amount <strong>of</strong> the jackpot<br />

prize for the table.<br />

(3) The arrangement must include a progressive jackpot meter<br />

that shows the amount <strong>of</strong> the jackpot prize for all tables<br />

under the arrangement.<br />

10 Other equipment<br />

(1) A table for the game must also be equipped with—<br />

(a) a dealing shoe or mechanical shuffling device; <strong>and</strong><br />

(b) a sign stating the maximum payment for the table;<br />

<strong>and</strong><br />

(c) a drop box <strong>and</strong> discard rack at approximately the<br />

location shown in diagram 3.1.<br />

(2) A casino operator may comply with subsection (1)(b) for a<br />

table by stating the maximum payment on the sign required<br />

under section 64(1)(d) <strong>of</strong> the Act.
