53 Perfect pairs wager<br />

A player may choose to place a wager (a perfect pairs<br />

wager) for a round <strong>of</strong> play if the boxes for wagers on the<br />

blackjack table layout provide for perfect pairs wagers.<br />

54 Placing a perfect pairs wager<br />

(1) If a player places a blackjack wager on a box, perfect pairs<br />

wagers may also be placed on the box. However –<br />

(i) the player placing the blackjack wager on the box<br />

must be given an opportunity to place a perfect pairs<br />

wager on before any other person is allowed to place<br />

a perfect pairs wager on the box; <strong>and</strong><br />

(ii)<br />

a maximum <strong>of</strong> 3 perfect pairs wagers may be placed<br />

on a box.<br />

(2) A perfect pairs wager for a round <strong>of</strong> play must be placed<br />

before any cards are dealt in the round <strong>of</strong> play.<br />

(3) A perfect pairs wager must be at least the minimum<br />

amount, <strong>and</strong> not more than the maximum amount,<br />

displayed on the sign at the table about perfect pairs<br />

wagers. 5<br />

55 Winning <strong>and</strong> losing perfect pairs wagers <strong>and</strong> payouts<br />

(1) A perfect pairs wager wins if the first 2 cards dealt to the<br />

h<strong>and</strong> on which the wager was placed are a pair.<br />

(2) Winning perfect pairs wagers must be paid as follows—<br />

(a)<br />

if the chief executive has approved the application <strong>of</strong><br />

the No. 1 schedule <strong>of</strong> prizes for perfect pairs wagers<br />

as part <strong>of</strong> the game <strong>of</strong> blackjack at the casino—<br />
