(3) When a voluntary or compulsory relinquishment <strong>of</strong> the<br />

shoe occurs, the dealer calling the game must <strong>of</strong>fer the shoe<br />

to the player immediately to the right <strong>of</strong> the previous<br />

banker.<br />

(4) If the player does not accept the shoe or there is no player<br />

in that position, the dealer must <strong>of</strong>fer the shoe to each <strong>of</strong> the<br />

other seated players in turn anticlockwise around the table.<br />

(5) The first person to accept the shoe becomes the new<br />

banker.<br />

29 Irregularities<br />

(1) A third card dealt to the player’s h<strong>and</strong> when no third card is<br />

authorised by this rule becomes the third card <strong>of</strong> the<br />

banker’s h<strong>and</strong> if, under section 26, the banker’s h<strong>and</strong> must<br />

draw.<br />

(2) If the banker’s h<strong>and</strong> is required to stay, the card dealt in<br />

error becomes the first card <strong>of</strong> the next round <strong>of</strong> play unless<br />

it has been disclosed.<br />

(3) A card drawn in error from the shoe if not disclosed is used<br />

as the first card <strong>of</strong> the next round <strong>of</strong> play.<br />

(4) A card that would have been the first card <strong>of</strong> the next round<br />

<strong>of</strong> play becomes the first card <strong>of</strong> a dummy round if the<br />

card—<br />

(a) has been disclosed; or<br />

(b) is found face up in the shoe.<br />

(5) A dummy round—<br />

(a) can only arise under subsection (4); <strong>and</strong><br />

(b) must be played in accordance with sections 20 to 26.<br />

(6) A player must not make a wager on a dummy round.<br />

(7) If, after the start <strong>of</strong> a round <strong>of</strong> play, a card is found face up<br />

in the shoe, the card—<br />

(a) is taken to be a live card; <strong>and</strong><br />

(b) must be played as if it were found face down.
