Each player at the table is responsible for correctly<br />

computing the point total <strong>of</strong> the player’s h<strong>and</strong> <strong>and</strong> may not<br />

rely on the point total announced by the dealer.<br />

Irregularities<br />

23 Exposed card in rack<br />

A card found face up in the shoe must be removed from<br />

play <strong>and</strong> placed in the discard rack.<br />

24 Card drawn in error to be used in play<br />

(1) A card drawn in error without its face being exposed must<br />

be used as though it were the next card from the shoe.<br />

(2) After the first 2 cards have been dealt to each player <strong>and</strong> a<br />

card is drawn in error <strong>and</strong> exposed to the players, the card<br />

must be dealt to a player or the dealer as though it were the<br />

next card from the shoe.<br />

Examples <strong>of</strong> a card drawn in error <strong>and</strong> exposed to players—<br />

1 A dealer gives a card to a player who has not indicated for a card.<br />

2 A dealer accidentally exposes a card when drawing it from a<br />

dealing shoe.<br />

(3) A player refusing to accept the card must not have any<br />

additional cards dealt to that h<strong>and</strong> during the round. Any<br />

draw wager for that player will be void.<br />

(4) If the card is refused by the players, it must become the<br />

dealer’s second card.<br />

25 Card drawn in error not to be used<br />

(1) Subsection (2) applies if the dealer—<br />

(a) has 5 or more points; <strong>and</strong><br />

(b) accidentally deals another card to the dealer’s h<strong>and</strong>;<br />

<strong>and</strong>
