(b) where the total value <strong>of</strong> the cards in the h<strong>and</strong> is 10 or<br />

higher, the right digit <strong>of</strong> that number.<br />

7 Permissible wagers <strong>and</strong> results<br />

(1) Before the first card is dealt for each round <strong>of</strong> play, each<br />

player at a game <strong>of</strong> lucky draw baccarat must make a wager<br />

(an enter wager) in the enter wager betting area against the<br />

dealer.<br />

(2) The enter wager—<br />

(a) wins if the player’s h<strong>and</strong> has a point count higher than<br />

that <strong>of</strong> the dealer’s h<strong>and</strong>;<br />

(b) loses if the player’s h<strong>and</strong> has a point count lower than<br />

that <strong>of</strong> the dealer’s h<strong>and</strong><br />

(c) will be declared a tie if the point counts <strong>of</strong> the player’s<br />

h<strong>and</strong> <strong>and</strong> the dealer’s h<strong>and</strong> are equal <strong>and</strong> neither shall<br />

win nor lose.<br />

(3) A player who elects to receive a third card must make a<br />

wager (a draw wager), which must be <strong>of</strong> equal value as<br />

their ‘enter’ wager on the appropriate betting area <strong>of</strong> the<br />

layout marked ‘draw’.<br />

(4) The draw wager-<br />

(a) wins if the player’s h<strong>and</strong> has a point count higher than<br />

that <strong>of</strong> the dealer’s h<strong>and</strong>;<br />

(b) loses if the player’s h<strong>and</strong> has a point count lower than<br />

that <strong>of</strong> the dealer’s h<strong>and</strong><br />

(c) will be declared a tie if the point counts <strong>of</strong> the player’s<br />

h<strong>and</strong> <strong>and</strong> the dealer’s h<strong>and</strong> are equal <strong>and</strong> neither shall<br />

win nor lose.<br />

8 How wagers may be made<br />

(1) A wager at lucky draw baccarat is made by placing chips in<br />

the appropriate wager area <strong>of</strong> the layout.<br />

(2) A wager can not be made orally.<br />

(3) Only 1 wager may be accepted on each area for wagers.
