Preliminary<br />

1 Conducting <strong>and</strong> playing blackjack switch<br />

This schedule states the rules for conducting <strong>and</strong> playing the<br />

casino game known as blackjack switch.<br />

2 Definitions for sch 20<br />

In this schedule—<br />

3 <strong>of</strong> a kind means 3 cards with the same face value.<br />

4 <strong>of</strong> a kind means 4 cards with the same face value.<br />

blackjack means an ace <strong>and</strong> any card having a point value <strong>of</strong><br />

10 dealt as the first 2 cards to a h<strong>and</strong>.<br />

blackjack switch wager see section 7(1).<br />

dealer means the person responsible for dealing the cards at<br />

a blackjack switch table.<br />

double down see section 25.<br />

face value, <strong>of</strong> a card, means—<br />

(a) the number <strong>of</strong> the card, namely 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 or 10;<br />

or<br />

(b) the type <strong>of</strong> card, namely jack, queen, king or ace.<br />

hard total means the point total <strong>of</strong> a h<strong>and</strong> containing no aces<br />

or containing aces that are each counted as 1 in value.<br />

insurance wager means a wager under section 24.<br />

pair means 2 cards with the same face value.
