(b) if a player’s cards were dealt face down, the player<br />

must indicate an intention to—<br />

(i) double down or split cards by making an<br />

additional wager <strong>and</strong> placing their cards face up<br />

on the table; or<br />

(ii)<br />

draw by scraping the bottom right h<strong>and</strong> corner<br />

<strong>of</strong> their cards against the table or by scratching<br />

on the table behind their wager; or<br />

(iii) st<strong>and</strong> by sliding the bottom corner <strong>of</strong> their cards<br />

under their wager or by moving their h<strong>and</strong><br />

horizontally.<br />

(5) As each player indicates his or her decision, the dealer must<br />

deal the additional cards required face up.<br />

(6) After all additional cards have been dealt, the dealer must<br />

deal a second card face up to the dealer.<br />

(7) Any additional cards dealt to the h<strong>and</strong> <strong>of</strong> the dealer must be<br />

dealt face up after which the dealer must announce the<br />

dealer’s point total.<br />

(8) Commencing from the dealer’s right, the dealer will turn<br />

the player’s cards face up <strong>and</strong> act on the outcome <strong>of</strong> the<br />

h<strong>and</strong> before moving to the next h<strong>and</strong>.<br />

18 Collecting <strong>and</strong> discarding cards after play<br />

(1) At the completion <strong>of</strong> a round <strong>of</strong> play, all cards still<br />

remaining on the layout must be picked up by the dealer in<br />

order so that the cards can be easily arranged to indicate<br />

each player’s h<strong>and</strong> if there is a question or dispute.<br />

(2) The dealer must pick up the cards starting with the player to<br />

the dealer’s far right <strong>and</strong> move anticlockwise around the<br />

table.<br />

(3) After all the players’ cards have been collected <strong>and</strong><br />

discarded, the dealer must pick up the dealer’s cards <strong>and</strong><br />

place them face down on top <strong>of</strong> the players’ cards in the<br />

discard rack.
