8 How wagers may be made<br />

(1) A wager at double deck blackjack is made by placing chips<br />

in the appropriate area <strong>of</strong> the layout.<br />

(2) A wager can not be made orally.<br />

9 Payout odds for winning wagers<br />

(1) Winning wagers, other than for a blackjack <strong>and</strong> an<br />

insurance wager, are paid at odds <strong>of</strong> 1 to 1.<br />

(2) A blackjack is paid at odds <strong>of</strong> 3 to 2.<br />

(3) A winning insurance wager is paid at odds <strong>of</strong> 2 to 1.<br />

10 Time for wagering<br />

(1) After the first card <strong>of</strong> a round <strong>of</strong> play has been removed<br />

from the shoe, a player must not h<strong>and</strong>le, remove or alter the<br />

double deck blackjack wager on h<strong>and</strong> until a decision about<br />

the wager has been made <strong>and</strong> has taken effect.<br />

(2) After a wager on the insurance line, a wager to double<br />

down or a wager to split cards has been made <strong>and</strong><br />

confirmed by the dealer, a player must not h<strong>and</strong>le, remove<br />

or alter any wager until a decision about the wager has been<br />

made <strong>and</strong> has taken effect.<br />

11 Entry to or exclusion from game<br />

(1) A floor manager may refuse to allow a person who has not<br />

made a double deck blackjack wager on the first round <strong>of</strong><br />

play to enter a later round, until the cards are reshuffled.<br />

(2) A floor manager may refuse to allow a person, who has<br />

placed a double deck blackjack wager on a round <strong>of</strong> play<br />

<strong>and</strong> declined to place a double deck blackjack wager on a<br />

later round, to place a further double deck blackjack wager<br />

until the shoe is completed <strong>and</strong> a new shoe is started.
