(4) After the first card <strong>of</strong> a round <strong>of</strong> play has been removed<br />

from the dealing shoe or mechanical shuffling device, a<br />

person must not change, take away or touch a wager until a<br />

decision about the wager is made, <strong>and</strong> the wager is dealt<br />

with, by the dealer.<br />

15 Dealing the cards<br />

(1) After all ante wagers <strong>and</strong> aces up wagers for a round <strong>of</strong><br />

play have been made, the dealer must deal the cards by<br />

starting from the dealer’s left <strong>and</strong> continuing clockwise<br />

around the table.<br />

(2) The cards must be dealt in 1 <strong>of</strong> the following ways<br />

provided for under the approved control system for the<br />

casino—<br />

(a) by placing in turn—<br />

(i) 1 card face down to each area containing an<br />

ante wager; <strong>and</strong><br />

(ii) 1 card face down to the dealer; <strong>and</strong><br />

(iii) a second, third, fourth <strong>and</strong> fifth card, face down<br />

in sequence, to each area containing an ante<br />

wager; <strong>and</strong><br />

(b)<br />

(iv) a second, third, fourth <strong>and</strong> fifth card, face down<br />

in sequence, to the dealer; <strong>and</strong><br />

(v)<br />

a sixth card (the dealer’s upcard) face up to the<br />

dealer;<br />

by placing in turn—<br />

(i)<br />

5 cards at a time face down to each area<br />

containing an ante wager; <strong>and</strong><br />

(ii) 5 cards at a time face down to the dealer; <strong>and</strong><br />

(iii) a sixth card (also the dealer’s upcard) face up<br />

to the dealer.<br />

16 Players may look at cards <strong>and</strong> fold or place a bet wager<br />

(1) After the cards for a round <strong>of</strong> play have been dealt, the<br />

players may look at their cards.
