Preliminary<br />

1 Conducting <strong>and</strong> playing three card poker<br />

This schedule states the rules for conducting <strong>and</strong> playing the<br />

casino game known as three card poker.<br />

2 Definitions for sch 16<br />

In this schedule—<br />

ante bonus payment means a payment made on a winning<br />

ante bonus h<strong>and</strong> under section 23.<br />

ante wager means a wager made by a person to enable the<br />

person to take part in a round <strong>of</strong> play <strong>of</strong> the game as a player.<br />

bet wager means a wager made by a player after the cards<br />

have been dealt <strong>and</strong> the player has had an opportunity to look<br />

at the player’s h<strong>and</strong>.<br />

closes a player’s h<strong>and</strong> see section 3.<br />

continuing player means a player who has made an ante<br />

wager <strong>and</strong> has not folded.<br />

face value, <strong>of</strong> a card, means—<br />

(a) the number <strong>of</strong> the card, namely, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 or<br />

10; or<br />

(b) the type <strong>of</strong> card, namely, jack, queen, king or ace.<br />

odd card, in relation to another card or cards, means a card<br />

with a different face value to the other card or cards.
