(b) more than the maximum wager for the round <strong>of</strong><br />

betting.<br />

(5) Subsection (4)(a) shall not apply in the event <strong>of</strong> a player<br />

going all-in .<br />

(6) If a player (the opening player) makes an opening bet, each<br />

active player in turn starting with the player next to the<br />

opening player, may—<br />

(a)<br />

(b)<br />

(c)<br />

(d)<br />

call; or<br />

call <strong>and</strong> raise; or<br />

fold; or<br />

go all-in.’.<br />

(7) The round <strong>of</strong> betting <strong>and</strong> the round <strong>of</strong> play ends if either <strong>of</strong><br />

the following happens—<br />

(a) a player makes an uncalled opening bet;<br />

(b) a player makes an uncalled raise.<br />

(8) If a player makes an uncalled opening bet or uncalled<br />

raise—<br />

(a) the player is the winner <strong>of</strong> the round <strong>of</strong> play; <strong>and</strong><br />

(b) the dealer must announce that the pot has been won<br />

<strong>and</strong> pay out the pot under section 26.<br />

(9) The round <strong>of</strong> betting ends <strong>and</strong> the round <strong>of</strong> play continues<br />

if—<br />

(a) 2 or more players (the contributing players) have<br />

each contributed an equal amount to the pot; <strong>and</strong><br />

(b) no other player has contributed a greater amount to<br />

the pot than each <strong>of</strong> the contributing players.<br />

(10) However, if the final round <strong>of</strong> betting ends under<br />

subsection (9), a showdown happens for the round <strong>of</strong> play.<br />

(11) In this section—<br />

appropriate community card or cards, for a round <strong>of</strong><br />

betting, means—<br />

(a) for the second round <strong>of</strong> betting—the flop; or
