(2) If a light fails, a card showing the result <strong>of</strong> the spin must be<br />

shown instead <strong>of</strong> the light.<br />

Irregularities<br />

20 Invalid spins<br />

(1) The dealer—<br />

(a)<br />

must declare a spin invalid if—<br />

(i)<br />

the spinner uses both h<strong>and</strong>s to h<strong>and</strong>le or spin<br />

the dice; or<br />

(ii) the dice do not leave the spinner’s h<strong>and</strong><br />

simultaneously; or<br />

(iii) the dice do not strike the end <strong>of</strong> the table<br />

farthest from the spinner; or<br />

(iv) either or both <strong>of</strong> the dice come to rest in the<br />

table’s chip tray; or<br />

(v) 1 die comes to rest on top <strong>of</strong> the other die; or<br />

(vi) either or both <strong>of</strong> the dice come to rest in the<br />

dice cup or on the rail <strong>of</strong> the table; or<br />

(vii) a die does not come to rest evenly on the table,<br />

including, for example, because the die comes<br />

to rest entirely or partially on a chip or other<br />

object, or a corner <strong>of</strong> the die comes to rest<br />

against the table wall; or<br />

(viii) either or both <strong>of</strong> the dice go <strong>of</strong>f the table; <strong>and</strong><br />

(b) may declare a spin invalid if the dealer otherwise<br />

considers the spin is invalid.<br />

(2) Subject to subsection (1)(a)(iv) <strong>and</strong> (vii), the dealer must<br />

not declare a spin invalid only because a die contacts a chip<br />

during the spin.<br />

(3) The dealer declares a spin invalid by calling ‘no spin’ or<br />

‘barred’—
