(3) Before taking any other cards from the shoe, the dealer<br />

must use the second card <strong>and</strong> any additional cards that have<br />

been separated out in the order the cards were originally<br />

taken from the shoe.<br />

(4) The dealer must deal the player immediately before the<br />

dealer (player A)—<br />

(a)<br />

(b)<br />

if player A was not dealt a second card—a second<br />

card; <strong>and</strong><br />

if player A indicates player A wants to be hit with<br />

additional cards—as many additional cards as player<br />

A indicates.<br />

(5) The dealer must deal a second card to the dealer’s h<strong>and</strong> <strong>and</strong><br />

may hit the dealer’s h<strong>and</strong> in the usual way.<br />

58 Dealer with no first card<br />

(1) If a dealer is acting on a player’s h<strong>and</strong> <strong>and</strong> discovers the<br />

dealer has missed dealing a first card to the dealer’s h<strong>and</strong>,<br />

the dealer must—<br />

(a) give each player the choice <strong>of</strong> withdrawing the<br />

player’s spanish blackjack wager; <strong>and</strong><br />

(b) finish acting on all players’ h<strong>and</strong>s that have not been<br />

withdrawn.<br />

(2) The dealer must take 2 cards <strong>and</strong>, if necessary, finish hitting<br />

the dealer’s h<strong>and</strong>, if there is at least 1 player—<br />

(a) who did not withdraw the player’s spanish blackjack<br />

wager; <strong>and</strong><br />

(b) whose point total is not more than 20.<br />

(3) However, the dealer can not obtain blackjack from the 2<br />

cards dealt to the dealer’s h<strong>and</strong> under subsection (2), even<br />

if the 2 cards are an ace <strong>and</strong> a card with a point value <strong>of</strong> 10.<br />

59 Extra h<strong>and</strong> dealt<br />

If the dealer has started acting on a player’s h<strong>and</strong>, an extra<br />

h<strong>and</strong> dealt in error is void.
