(2) A wager may be made orally, but it has no effect as a wager<br />

until the chips have been placed under subsection (1).<br />

(3) Diagram 9.3 shows the correct placement <strong>of</strong> wagers on the<br />

roulette layout.<br />

(4) No wagers may be placed, changed or withdrawn after the<br />

dealer has called ‘no more bets’.<br />

(5) A winning wager may be withdrawn before the next spin.<br />

(6) This section does not apply to a player using a roulette<br />

terminal.<br />

12 How wagers are made <strong>and</strong> changed—roulette terminal<br />

(1) This section applies to a player using a roulette terminal.<br />

(2) The player makes a wager by touching the part <strong>of</strong> a roulette<br />

terminal’s touch screen designated for making wagers.<br />

(3) Diagram 9.4 shows the correct placement <strong>of</strong> wagers on the<br />

layout for a roulette terminal.<br />

(4) The player may make, change or withdraw a wager until<br />

the words ‘no more bets’ are displayed on the terminal.<br />

13 Use <strong>of</strong> non-value chips<br />

(1) The dealer must give a non-value chip a value before<br />

issuing the chip to a player at the table.<br />

(2) A non-value chip has the value given by the dealer under<br />

subsection (1).<br />

(3) The dealer must not issue the same coloured non-value<br />

chips to more than 1 player unless all the players issued<br />

with the chips agree to the issue.<br />

(4) A non-value chip may be used only at the table at which it<br />

was issued.<br />

(5) The dealer may accept a non-value chip in exchange for a<br />

value chip only if—<br />

(a) the non-value chip was issued at the dealer’s table; or
