Dealing the tiles<br />

25 Dealing the tiles<br />

(1) After the dealer decides which box is to receive the first<br />

tiles, a group <strong>of</strong> 4 tiles is dealt to each box in turn, going<br />

around the table in an anticlockwise direction.<br />

(2) However, if a box does not contain a wager, it is not<br />

necessary for the dealer to deliver the tiles for that box<br />

directly to the box.<br />

26 Controlling the tiles<br />

(1) When a player sets the player’s tiles, the player must keep<br />

the faces <strong>of</strong> the tiles concealed from all other players.<br />

(2) A player must keep all tiles under the player’s control—<br />

(a) in the playing area; <strong>and</strong><br />

(b) in view <strong>of</strong> the dealer <strong>and</strong> the floor manager.<br />

(3) Only the player who is to set the tiles for a box may h<strong>and</strong>le<br />

the tiles.<br />

(4) However, if 2 players are player/banker, both may h<strong>and</strong>le<br />

the tiles.<br />

(5) If more than 2 players are player/banker, only 2 <strong>of</strong> the<br />

players may h<strong>and</strong>le the tiles.
