(3) A player who is player/banker or co-banker for a round <strong>of</strong><br />

play is charged 5% commission on any pr<strong>of</strong>its made after<br />

all players’ losing wagers have been collected <strong>and</strong> all<br />

players’ winning wagers have been paid.<br />

(4) However, the commission may be rounded down to the<br />

nearest multiple <strong>of</strong> 50c.<br />

Example for subsection (4)—<br />

If the amount on which a co-banker is to pay commission is $97.50, the<br />

commission is paid on $90.<br />

Opening <strong>of</strong> table for gaming<br />

20 Sorting, inspecting <strong>and</strong> shuffling the tiles<br />

(1) After receiving the 32 tiles at the table, the dealer <strong>and</strong> the<br />

floor manager must inspect the tiles independently.<br />

(2) After the tiles have been inspected, the dealer must arrange<br />

the tiles face up on the table in ranking pairs for visual<br />

inspection by the first player or players to arrive at the<br />

table.<br />

(3) A player must be given an opportunity to look at the tiles<br />

before the tiles are shuffled <strong>and</strong> stacked in preparation for<br />

the first round <strong>of</strong> play.<br />

Shuffling <strong>and</strong> cutting the tiles<br />

21 Shuffling <strong>and</strong> stacking for each round <strong>of</strong> play<br />

(1) The dealer must shuffle the tiles face down on the table by<br />

a thorough washing motion <strong>and</strong> stack the tiles at the start <strong>of</strong><br />

each round <strong>of</strong> play.
