a total <strong>of</strong> 4, 5, 6, 8, 9 or 10 is thrown <strong>and</strong> that<br />

total is again thrown before a 7 is thrown; <strong>and</strong><br />

loses if, on the come out roll—<br />

a total <strong>of</strong> 2, 3 or 12 is thrown; or<br />

a total <strong>of</strong> 4, 5, 6, 8, 9 or 10 is thrown <strong>and</strong> a 7 is<br />

thrown before that total is again thrown.<br />

5 Time <strong>and</strong> way for wagering<br />

(1) A wager must be made before the dice are thrown.<br />

(2) However, a wager may be made between when the dice<br />

leave the shooter’s h<strong>and</strong> <strong>and</strong> the dice come to rest if the<br />

wager is confirmed orally by the dealer <strong>and</strong> a boxperson.<br />

(3) A wager at craps is made by placing chips on the<br />

appropriate area <strong>of</strong> the layout.<br />

(4) However, a wager made orally <strong>and</strong> accompanied by cash<br />

placed on the layout may be accepted if—<br />

(a) the wager is confirmed orally by the dealer <strong>and</strong> a<br />

boxperson; <strong>and</strong><br />

(b) the cash is, as soon as practicable, replaced by chips<br />

placed on the appropriate area <strong>of</strong> the layout.<br />

(5) A cash wager may be accepted only if there is not enough<br />

time to convert the cash into gaming chips (that is, when<br />

the dice are in the air).<br />

(6) If a cash wager wins, the cash must be immediately<br />

converted into gaming chips before the winning wager is<br />

paid.<br />

6 Removal or reduction <strong>of</strong> wager<br />

(1) A wager may be removed or reduced at any time before a<br />

roll that decides the outcome <strong>of</strong> the wager.<br />

(2) However, a win bet <strong>and</strong> a come bet must not be removed or<br />

reduced after a come out point or come point is established<br />

for the bet.
