Repeat Rows 2–9 until piece measures 68½” from
beginning. Do not fasten off.
Top Diamond Points
Row 1: Turn, slip st in first sc and in first 2 dc of next shell,

First Point

With right side facing and top edge at top, join with slip
st in first sc on last row of Shawl worked before Diamond
Points, sc in each dc and sc up edge of first Diamond
Point, end with sc in center dc of shell on Row 4 of
Diamond Point, *ch 13, slip st in 3rd ch from hook, ch 10,
slip st in center dc of same shell, sc in each dc and sc
down edge of same diamond point**, sc in each dc and sc
up edge of next Diamond Point, end with sc in center dc
of shell on Row 4 of Diamond Point; repeat from * across
top edge, ending last repeat at **, sc evenly along side
edge; work sc and ch-loops along bottom edge same as
top edge, sc evenly along other side edge, join with slip st
in first sc.
Fasten off.
FINISHING
Weave in ends. Steam press very lightly.

next unworked shell on Row 1, ch 1, sc in same dc as joining,

space, shell in next sc, sc in center dc of next shell, leave
remaining sts unworked – 2 shells and 1 ch-5 space.
Rows 3-4: Repeat Rows 3-4 of First Point.
Repeat Rows 2–4 across to finish all diamond points.
Bottom Diamond Points
Turn piece upside down so foundation chain is at top.
Work diamond points along beginning edge as follows:
Row 1: With wrong side facing and working in free loop of
foundation chs across, join with slip st in free loop of ch at
base of first shell, ch 1, sc in same ch as joining, *skip next
ch, shell in next ch, skip next ch, sc in next ch, [ch 5, skip
next 3 chs, sc in next ch] twice, skip next ch, shell in next
ch, skip next ch, sc in next ch; repeat from * across – 14

Rows 2–4: Work same as Rows 2–4 of Top Diamond Points.
Work 6 additional points same as Top Diamond Points to
