1 Before Use<br />
Charging<br />
The main unit of the <strong>Intelligent</strong> <strong>Tester</strong> II has a special internal rechargeable battery (lithium ion battery).<br />
This battery is not charged when the <strong>Intelligent</strong> <strong>Tester</strong> II is shipped from the factory, so be sure to charge the battery before<br />
using the tester.<br />
NOTE<br />
There is no need to turn OFF the power switch on the <strong>Intelligent</strong> <strong>Tester</strong> II while charging. The <strong>Intelligent</strong><br />
<strong>Tester</strong> II can be charged with the power ON or OFF.<br />
It takes approximately five hours to fully charge the battery from a <strong>com</strong>pletely discharged state, regardless<br />
of whether the power switch is ON or OFF.<br />
1. Connect the AC/DC adapter DC plug to the AC/DC adapter connector of the <strong>Intelligent</strong> <strong>Tester</strong> II.<br />
2. Plug the AC/DC adapter power plug into an electrical socket.<br />
Charging starts and the battery indicator on the <strong>Intelligent</strong> <strong>Tester</strong> II lights up red. Charging is <strong>com</strong>plete when the<br />
battery indicator changes from red to green.<br />
3. Disconnect the AC/DC adapter DC plug from the AC/DC adapter connector of the<br />
<strong>Intelligent</strong> <strong>Tester</strong> II.<br />
4. Unplug the AC/DC adapter power plug from the electrical socket.<br />
