1. Nano-bio-technologies:<br />

Targeted drug delivery, through strategic functionalizations of nanodevices.<br />

Transdermal vaccine delivery through aligned nano-needles systems.<br />

Toxicological evaluation of drug delivery systems for biomedical applications.<br />

Lab-on-a-chip devices for selective detection of rare circulating tumor cells (started recently).<br />

2. Medicinal Chemistry:<br />

Synthesis, characterization and quantitative structure-activity relationship (QSAR) studies of potent<br />

antagonists towards different adenosine receptors’ subtypes.<br />

Molecular modeling studies to investigate ligand-receptor interactions (started recently).<br />
