Settlement of West Ipperwash Land Claim Issue
RECOMMENDATION:
Information only – receive and file.
REPORT
This report is to simply confirm that a final settlement was reached in the West
Ipperwash Land Claim issue on May 28 th , 2012, an action that commenced in 1995.
The Municipality played only a minor role in the land claim issue and is satisfied that its
concerns have been addressed. The Court has approved reimbursement of legal
expenses resulting from the claim.
