View - The Municipality of Lambton Shores

Having programming available to the youth is important to the community. Data
collected for the Recreation and Leisure Services Master Plan (from here on known as
the Master Plan) indicates that Youth Centres top the list for priority spending on
municipal facilities (see Figure 5 from the Master Plan). Youth Centres are also ranked
#3 as the type of facility most needed in Lambton Shores (see Figure 6 from the Master
Plan).
The Master Plan has identified a service delivery gap with respect to Youth Centres in
Lambton Shores. A partnership between the Municipality and the Optimists is a solution
to close this gap without direct programming service delivery provided by the
Municipality.
