THE CORPORATION OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF LAMBTON SHORES
BY-LAW 74 OF 2011
Being a By-law to authorize the acquisition of land
from the Public Guardian and Trustee
WHEREAS:
The municipality has been offered the right to acquire land in the
Beach O’Pines subdivision, being Part 31, P 25R-2873, from the
Public Guardian and Trustee, on the condition that the municipality
maintains the lands in its natural state for public use;
AND WHEREAS: It is deemed appropriate for the Municipality to accept the offer and
authorize the Mayor and Clerk to sign the necessary transfer /deed of
land for the acquisition of the property.
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the Municipality of Lambton Shores
enacts as follows:
1. The Mayor and Clerk are authorized to sign the Transfer/Deed of Land for property
described as Part Lots 6 & 7, Concession L.R.W., being Part 31, Plan 25R-2873
on behalf of the Corporation of the Municipality of Lambton Shores a copy of which
is attached to this by-law as “Schedule “A”, and to affix to the document the
Corporate Seal of the Corporation of the Municipality of Lambton Shores;
2. This By-law comes into force and effect upon being finally passed.
