School Overview
General Information
Lake Shore serves grades 9-12 with an enrolment
of approximately 852 students.
Known legally as the Evans-Brant C.S.D.
serves the communities of Angola, Brant, Irving,
Derby, Farnham and North Evans New
York.
A weighted rank for seniors is updated in September
of their senior year, including 6 semesters
of high school work. The final class rank
is available in February and includes 7 semesters
of class work.
Grades are issued in percentages and converted
to a weighted GPA for ranking purposes
Our story
Lake Shore High School is a comprehensive
co-educational high school with a strong academic
program. Lake Shore is fully accredited by
the New York State Board of Regents.
AP Honors and College Level
Advanced Placement Courses are offered in the
areas of Literature and Composition, Calculus,
Music Theory, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, U.S.
History and Human Geography
College Level Courses at a reduced tuition rate
are available in the areas of:
Calculus, History Since 45, Sociology, German 5,
Spanish 5, French 5, Video Production, Advanced
Video Production, Business and Education Employability
Portfolio, Accounting and Microsoft
Office/MCAS Certification.
