For the future, the Chair asked officers to consider providing a brief summary of the
information provided.
The Chairman of Resources <strong>Committee</strong> advised Members of the proposed discussion
on the work of the <strong>Development</strong> Management service at the next Resources <strong>Committee</strong>,
where it was hoped to look the current trends of planning applications together with the
issues of capacity and dealing with the demands the service is experiencing.
In answer to a question raised, the Head of <strong>Development</strong> Management advised the
<strong>Committee</strong> of his thoughts on the introduction of a charge for the pre-application service.

Members noted the performance monitoring information provided.
