The Compliance Planner presented the report outlining the breach of planning c<strong>on</strong>trol at<br />

the Salutati<strong>on</strong> Hotel, Ambleside, which it was c<strong>on</strong>sidered expedient to take enforcement<br />

acti<strong>on</strong> against. Since writing the report, the landowner had agreed to remove the<br />

c<strong>on</strong>tainers, but the Compliance Planner felt it prudent to c<strong>on</strong>tinue to serve the<br />

enforcement notice.<br />

Decided:<br />

the <str<strong>on</strong>g>Committee</str<strong>on</strong>g> agreed the serving of an enforcement notice to:<br />

a) secure the removal of the two c<strong>on</strong>tainers.<br />

57/12 Delegated Compliance Matters<br />

Certain planning enforcement and related acti<strong>on</strong>s are delegated to the Head of<br />

<str<strong>on</strong>g>Development</str<strong>on</strong>g> Management. It is a requirement of the scheme of delegati<strong>on</strong> that such<br />

acti<strong>on</strong>s be reported to the next available <str<strong>on</strong>g>Development</str<strong>on</strong>g> <str<strong>on</strong>g>C<strong>on</strong>trol</str<strong>on</strong>g> <str<strong>on</strong>g>Committee</str<strong>on</strong>g> for<br />

informati<strong>on</strong>. The report provides that informati<strong>on</strong>.<br />

It had been decided that it would not be expedient, in the public interest, for the Authority<br />
